HARLEY DAVIDSONS can shut down if they get to hot during a  slow moving parade or rally traffic.  If V-Twin engine  gets to hot the bike’s electronic temperature system will shut down the engine.  AMSOIL tested a V-TWIN for 1000 miles under low speed, low airflow, and stop and go conditions.  There were no engine shutdowns or malfunctions during the test.  Tests concluded that Extreme heat is no match for AMSOIL V-TWIN Motorcycle Oil.  A video showing these results of available at youtube.com/user/amsoilinc.  Just enter “V-twin” in the search field.
